El pasado 5 de abril, Jueves Santo, mismo día en que celebramos el día del amor fraterno, subió con nuestro Padre Celestial nuestro hermano en la fe ROGELIO SOTO, fundador de los Seglares en Venezuela, gran luchador por los derechos sociales y excelente evangelizador.
No unimos al dolor de los hermanos de Venezuela, llenos de esperanza en este tiempo de Resurrección y celebramos la Nueva Vida para él. Que la alegría Cristo Resucitado venza toda tristeza en nuestra vida.

Lay Claretians from Chile start “THE FORGE” project
The Lay Claretians from Linares, Santiago y Curicó got together in the Monastery of Quilvo on Saturday 31st of March 2012 for a spiritual retreat to start the project “The Forge in our daily life for lay people”.
The retreat was directed by Father Pepe Abarza, cmf, who organized this religious meeting together with the team of laypeople from Curicó. Fr. Pepe presented the project “The Forge in our daily life” organized by the Congregation of the Claretian Missionaries.
The lay Claretians learned about and embraced the four focal points to make them a tool of spiritual growth asbelievers and missionaries. The cores are “QUID PRODEST”, “PATRIS MEI”, “CARITAS CHRISTI” AND “SPIRITUS DOMINI”. In this retreat “QUID PRODEST”, the first stage, was started. It is meant to enlighten their life up to Advent 2012.
There are already many lay Claretians from all over the world who are bringing this project to life. It helps us to growin union with Jesus, in the forge of God and Mary’s love, to renew our vocation and become arrows to be shot at the world to evangelize.
We are attaching a prayer for the lay Claretians who are doing the Forge project. The prayer written a few yearsago by our Caribbean brothers and sisters has become widespread and has helped unite all the regions in common prayer. We encourage you to say this prayer in your group so that the way our Chilean brothers have started bears plentiful fruit in their heart and live.

Father of love and mercy,
We thank you for having called us
To live the experience of the Forge
As lay Claretians.
Shed your Holy Spirit on us,
And grant us the capacity
To overcome the obstacles,
To listen to your call
And to answer with generosity
So that we can increasingly grow in union
with Jesus your Son,
The Disciple and Missionary of your Kingdom.
Faithful Heart of Mary, intercede for us with your Son
So that the experience of the Forge
Rekindles the flame of His love
In our hearts
And we are able to burn with missionary love
The way our Founder Father,
St Anthony Mary Claret, did.

Argentina-Uruguay Regional Assembly
The Argentina-Uruguay Regional Assembly of the Lay Claretian Movement was held on March 24th and 25th 2012. The participants reflected on the present and future of lay people in the region, producing a final document with several commitments.
The meeting, which took place in the house of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Córdoba, took the documents from the last General Assembly of the Lay Claretian Movement in Aparecida as a starting point to work on.
On the occasion of the Assembly a new Regional Council was elected for the next two years: Alberto Mazza (RegionalCoordinator), Agueda Pillitteri (Training), Nene Saroba (Economy), Father Remigio Chmelar (Religious Adviser).
We thank the outgoing team for their effort and commitment. They have done their duty with perseverance andfondness. And we pray God to enlighten the way of this new period and to bless this region, which is not without difficulties but is rich in love for God, Claret and the Movement.

Seglares Claretianos de Chile comienzan el proyecto de "LA FRAGUA"
El día sábado 31 de marzo de 2012 en el Monasterio de Quilvo se dieron cita los seglares claretianos de Linares, Santiago y Curicó, para vivir el retiro de inicio del proyecto “La Fragua en la vida Cotidiana para Laicos”.
El retiro estuvo a cargo del P. Pepe Abarza, cmf, quien organizó este encuentro con el equipo de seglares de Curicó. El P. Pepe hizo la presentación del proyecto “La Fragua en la Vida Cotidiana” organizado por la Congregación de los Misioneros Claretianos.
Los cuatro ejes propuestos fueron conocidos y abrazados por los seglares para hacerlos una herramienta de crecimiento espiritual como creyentes y misioneros. Los núcleos son “QUID PRODEST”, “PATRIS MEI”, “CARISTAS CHRISTI” Y “SPIRITUS DOMINI”.
Con este retiro se dio inicio a la primera etapa “QUID PRODEST”, destinado a animar la vida hasta adviento de 2012.
Son ya muchos los Seglares de todo el mundo que van haciendo vida este proyecto que nos ayuda a configurarnos con Jesus, en la fragua del Amor de Dios y María, para ser renovar nuestra vocación y ser saetas lanzadas al mundo a Evangelizar.
Os adjuntamos una oración por los Seglares Claretianos que realizan la Fragua, compuesta por nuestros hermanos del Caribe hace unos años, y que se ha ido difundiendo y sirviendo para unión en la oración entre todas las regiones. Asamblea Regional Argentina-Uruguay
Los días 24 y 25 de marzo de 2012 se realizó la Asamblea de Seglares Claretianos de la Región Argentina-Uruguay. Los participantes trabajaron sobre el presente y el futuro de los laicos en la región, proponiendo un documento final con una serie de compromisos.
La reunión, realizada en la casa de las Hermanas del Buen Pastor de Córdoba, tomó como base de trabajo los documentos de la última Asamblea General de Seglares Claretianos realizada en Aparecida.
En la ocasión se eligió un nuevo Consejo Regional para los próximos dos años: Alberto Mazza (Coordinador Regional), Agueda Pillitteri (Formación), Nene Saroba (Economía). P.Remigio Chmelar (Asesor).
Damos gracias por su esfuerzo y entrega al equipo saliente que ha trabajado con constancia y cariño y pedimos a Dios que ilumine el camino de este nuevo periodo y bendiga a esta región, no exenta de dificultades pero rica Amor a Dios, a Claret y al Movimiento.
